If you can't find it, we'll consult with you to get it reproduced. Thompson Rod Works, a small family operation, is located in West Central Illinois, on the Mississippi River. This setting is perfect, allowing you to get the most for your money when it comes to parts you need. The street rod pictured in this web site is an example of what we can do. Most of the aluminum parts on this car have been designed and created in-house. Available through our shop, are machining capabilities, both manual and computer controlled (CNC) machining. We have access to an aluminum and brass foundry casting facility. In addition, any needed powder coating can be completed locally. Along with 30 years experience in the pattern-making field, we have 20 years experience laminating fiberglass by hand available for detailed completion of your project.
